The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has blamed lawmakers for being the reason for joblessness in the nation.
The ruler said this when he talked on Saturday during the conference service of Edo University, Iyamho in Etsako West neighborhood government territory of the state.
As indicated by the Oba, the pace of joblessness is “troubling”, including that government officials keep the young in their pockets by luring them with cash as opposed to furnishing them with assets that will help their commitment to the economy.
“The manner in which we are going with the pace of joblessness is extremely troubling and with due regard, it is you, government officials that are causing it,” he was cited as saying.
“The minimal expenditure the legislators provide for you (adolescents) and you are yelling for them is just transitory. You should realize that salvation is in the hands of God and not anyone.
“At the point when I was resulting in these present circumstances lobby I saw youngsters yelling; Obaseki, Oshiomhole, and all these youngsters are not exclusively doing this in Edo state yet almost wherever in the nation.”
The oba approached governments at all levels to make “control accessible in the nation”, saying “once that is done, all will be well”.
